We met in 1986 when Jim was selling outdoor equipment and Katie was managing a ski shop in San Diego. Over the past 20 years we have lived in Southern California, Mammoth Lakes, CA, a small town in Wisconsin, near Brussels, and in Antwerp, Belgium. We've recently bought a small condo in Boulder City, NV to be our home base in the US.

We worked together for several years as sales representatives for a wide assortment of outdoor and fashion products: backpacks, skis, snowboards, windsurfing equipment, bikes, outerwear, ski apparel, swimwear, skateboards, fashion apparel, footwear.......the list goes on.

In 1994 Katie owned a couple of retail stores in Mammoth and Jim took a job with a large American corporation (VF Corporation). He moved to Wisconsin and we were apart more than we were together. In 2000 Jim was offered a promotion and the opportunity to move to Europe. He gladly accepted and moved to Belgium. Katie sold her business and joined him shortly thereafter. She enjoyed life as an ex-pat wife and Jim worked constantly, often traveling in Europe and Asia.

2006 brought huge changes. Jim retired the end of 2005. Life slowed down! We were together....All the time...Very good indeed. Smooth sailing and new adventures await.
